Elsie Dietz Deason, 85, passed away peacefully after a long illness at St. Luke Lutheran Community, February 26, 2010.
Elsie dedicated her life after the passing of her husband to raising her three daughters. Elsie was active in Faith Lutheran Church and her community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Ray Deason, and is survived by daughters, Donna Deason-Rehman (Paul Edward Rehman, Jr.), Brenda Marie Deason, Carol Ann Huff (G. Paul Huff); grandchildren, Thomas Andrew Rehman and Abigayle Elizabeth Huff; brother, Frederick Jacob Dietz of Springfield, Ill.; sisters, Anna Lou Ellis of Marion, Ill., and Betty Jean Renner of Merritt Island, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 5 p.m. Sunday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Robert Linsz officiating. Interment at Indian Hill Cemetery in DeSoto, Ill. Friends may call at the funeral home 3 to 5 p.m.. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 2726 W.
