LaRue F. Filey
LaRue F. Filey, 86, passed away peacefully July 22, 2010 after a long, happy life.
Born in Akron, she lived here all of her life. LaRue retired as a secretary from AT&T after 38 years of service.
Preceded in death by her husband, William; brother, Bruce; survived by brother, Richard (Jan) Meyer; many loving nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the wonderful caregivers over the years; especially everyone from Sterling House, New Horizons and Crossroads Hospice.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St., Cuyahoga Falls with Rev. Myron Lindsey officiating. Private burial at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call 12 to 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. If desired, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice VNS.
